Approximately 680 years old, this raft cup is attributed to the Chinese silversmith Zhu Bishan of Zhejiang province during the Yuan or early Ming dynasty. Signed and dated 1345, it is made of hammered silver soldered together with chased decoration, shaped like a hollow log, and features a figure believed to be Zhang Qian holding a loom stone.
